our journey to delancey began several months ago, when we attended a talk and book signing by a local food blogger, a red-headed woman who writes under the sobriquet "orangette". this is her restaurant. we got seats at the bar and watched the chefs make pizzas, stretching the crust and painting the sauce on in a spiral before baking them in a wood-fired oven. if you like highbrow pizza, we recommend it without reservation.
